We are proud to announce the 2019 Write/LA semifinalists. These fifteen writers have all created memorable stories and fascinating characters. Narrowing this field down to the Top 8 in two weeks will be quite the challenge!
As semifinalists, these writers will receive a free copy of Movie Magic Screenwriter 6, a free screenwriting book courtesy of Michael Wiese Productions, a phone call from head judge Tim Schildberger to discuss their scripts after the contest wraps, and a professional logline polish from co-founder Angela Bourassa. All of that is in addition to the quarterfinalist prizes.
